Our Executive Director started our society in 1994.  The scope or dimensions of the role of the Executive Director are significant: Margaret's responsibility ranges from the management of staff, contractors, and volunteers, meeting community needs, strategic financial management, to risk mitigation.

IT Technician – Team Lead

As our IT Technician - Team Lead, Bonnie leverages her deep expertise in information technology to keep our systems and devices current and accessible for everyone. She has been a trusted and integral part of our organization since 2002.

Finance Officer

Our Finance Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with Federal and Provincial financial accounting policies and procedures. Jennifer completes the financial statements, budgets for all agreements, and ensures all supporting information is complete and accurate.

 Information Resource Specialist

As the first point of contact at our Bridgewater Centre, our Information Resource Specialist, Charmaine, warmly welcomes visitors and provides individuals and employers with the information and resources they need to access our free employment assistance services and programs.

Heather Clarkson, CCDP

​Career Practitioner

As one of our Career Development Practitioners, Heather works closely with clients to develop effective return-to-work action plans, helping job seekers build the skills and confidence needed to successfully pursue their employment goals. She also supports clients with job search strategies, career decision-making, and accessing funding for work experience, retraining, or self-employment. In addition to her practitioner role, Heather also serves as our Operations Manager, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our organization.

Our Workshop Facilitator leads group sessions by fostering co-creation, active dialogue, and collaborative problem-solving to help participants work toward specific goals. In every workshop and webinar, Maria ensures that participants develop a stronger understanding of the skills essential for achieving meaningful employment.​.

Our Job Developer supports clients who face challenges in promoting themselves to employers, helping them identify and pursue their career and personal development goals. They also collaborate with local businesses to understand their labor market needs and create employment opportunities by aligning those needs with the skills of our clients.

Employment Maintenance Worker

Our Employment Maintenance Worker provides tailored support to clients who face challenges related to market perceptions. Jim develops, coordinates, and expands service options to help individuals progress toward their personal and professional goals. His work focuses on empowering clients to adapt and strengthen their strategies for lasting success in both employment and life.

Jillian Jamer
​Employer Engagement Specialist
Our Employer Engagement Specialist works closely with employer partners to understand their needs and create customized action plans. Jillian also collaborates with community and government organizations to identify and support regional economic development opportunities. On an operational level, she assists employers with recruitment, employee retention, promoting job opportunities, and accessing available servoces and funding programs.

Catherine Gillis, CCDP

School Liaison

Our School Liaisons work with students in Grades 7-12, and their families, to explore entering the workforce.  Catherine offers support with understanding Labour Market Information, accessing potential youth employment opportunities, providing relevant employability workshops, and supporting with the career planning process. She provides services in the following schools:  North Queens Community School, Lockeport Regional High School, Liverpool Regional High School, and Shelburne Regional High School.

Lorenda Barkhouse, CCDP

​School Liaison

 Our School Liaisons work with students in Grades 7-12, and their families, to explore entering the workforce.  Lorenda offers support with understanding Labour Market Information, accessing potential youth employment opportunities, providing relevant employability workshops, and supporting with the career planning process. Adult Learning Opportunities Instructor

As an instructor within the Lunenburg County Adult Learning Opportunities Program, Marilla helps people (aged 18+) develop learning plans and progress towards their goals. She assists learners to improve skills in communications, math, and other subjects as well as prepare for GED tests and promote participation in the E3 Foundation programs.​

​Adult Learning Opportunities Instructors

Our Adult Learning instructors within the Lunenburg County Adult Learning Opportunities Program work with adult learners to develop learning plans and set goals in reading, writing, and math. They also help learners reach their employment, educational, or personal goals.  They deliver training in basic computer skills, essential skills, workplace communications and math.

Administrative Assistant

As Administrative Assistant to Lunenburg County Adult Learning Opportunities, Dayna welcomes learners and provides resources and support to individuals seeking out our services. Dayna helps to connect learners to instructors, promote E3 Foundation programs, and provide assistance within the learning space.
