and Queens Counties who are legally entitled to work in Canada.

Self-Services (No cost)

Self-services are available to anyone who visits our centre, you do not have to be a registered client to access:
- Orientation to our centre – we will show you around our centre and you will get familiar with all areas you can access.
- Determine service needs – our Information Resource Specialist will ask you a few questions to enable her to suggest next steps and determine your needs.
- Attend group sessions – we have a lineup of Webinars and Workshops you can attend (In Person and Virtually)
- Referrals to other community agencies – we can refer you to a community partner that can assist you to overcome a barrier if it is not employment or career related.
- Access Computers – our Bridgewater Centre computers are available to you from 8:30 – 4:30, Monday through Friday.
- Access to resume and cover letter building tools – we have programs installed on our public computers and can assist you in creating a resume and cover letter. Show you how to gain access to Nova Scotia Works Digital an online portal to use resume and cover letter building tools online.
- View/borrow resource materials & books – there are books and materials available for you to borrow or view in our Bridgewater Centre.
- Free printing, photocopying & faxing for job search purposes – there is a printer available for your job search and career exploration related documents.
- Phone available for local calls – we can provide access to a phone (in a private location) within our centre.
- Basic office supplies – access to paper, stapler, pens & pencils, etc.
- Access to Wi-fi – you can use our public wi-fi access point.
- Work with one of our staff – our Front Desk staff can book you with one of our Case Managers that will assist you one to one in reaching your career or job-related goal(s).

Accessing our employment assistance services requires a registration with us, there is no charge as we are funded by Employment Nova Scotia.
