Our programs are available at no cost to adults 18 and older who are no longer attending school. Learning is offered in a friendly, nonjudgmental, and safe environment. Work towards your GED, improve your skills, and reach employment or personal goals. Smaller groups and one-to-one teaching allow our instructors to give each learner all the time they need to be successful. You can start any time and attend when you are able from September to June.
Our vision for Lunenburg County residents is strong literacy, an empowered community and enhanced quality of life through lifelong learning.

How it works
- Meet with one of our instructors for an intake assessment. This assessment will look at your reading and math skills to see where we will start and what materials will be needed. We will also ask questions about your interests and background to help us understand your needs and what you will enjoy.
- We will register you in one of our programs by completing a registration form. In addition to your contact information, you will be asked questions about your educational history, learning needs, and any possible challenges. We will also require your Social Insurance Number for registration purposes.
- You can then join a scheduled class time, or just come whenever you are available. There are no attendance requirements or tests; come when you can! We will use your assessment results to choose the right subjects and materials.
