Welcome to Employment Solutions Society

Who are we?

We are a registered non-profit society dedicated to assisting job seekers find employment and employers find suitable workers.  We have been serving job seekers and employers since 1994, and in 2016, we became a Nova Scotia Works – Employment Assistance Services Centre, and received operational funding from the Province of Nova Scotia.  We partner with government, community agencies and local employers to deliver our inclusive employment services. We help individuals with career planning, job searching and on-the-job development, and help employers with recruitment, planning and HR support.​

Job Seekers

 We offer access to computers for job search, faxing and phone for local calls. Additional services are available to those who register (at no cost) and include working 1 to 1 with a Career Practitioner/Case Manager on your individual job or career plan.

A truly wonderful organization with skilled and caring staff. Very supportive of adults with lagging skills in need of finding development as they try to find their ‘job of best fit.’ Staff have great understanding and acceptance of persons with autism as they try to find their way into the world of meaningful employment. The warm and welcoming staff assist clients with three levels of client engagement to help users find employment, and get upgrading and retraining workshops. Great for employers to find the right fit for employees too!
