Our team supports individual job seekers, employers, and community organizations access a variety of free inclusive employment programs and services designed to promote success.
We achieve this by supporting individuals with career planning, effective job search strategies, and workplace skills development to help secure meaningful employment. At the same time, we assist businesses with recruitment, workforce planning, and HR support, connecting them with qualified candidates. We also collaborate with community organizations to enhance workforce outcomes for individuals and communities they serve. We have been serving our communities since 1994 and in 2016, we became a Nova Scotia Works – Employment Assistance Services Centre and received operational funding from the Province of Nova Scotia. Job search services including access to online computers, printer, fax and a phone for local calls. Additional employment services are available to those who register and work with individually with a Career Practitioner / Case Manager on a plan.

We help all employers in our communities to find people who are the best fit for them.

We help youth with answers to questions that are related to career planning, job search, volunteering, post secondary and other important topics.

The warm and welcoming staff assist clients with three levels of client engagement to help users find employment, and get upgrading and retraining workshops. Great for employers to find the right fit for employees too!
